This policy describes information handled through the Southern Accent website. Southern Accent, LLC is owned by Leif and Jaimee Shires and provides custom accent wall design and installation in greater Nashville, Tennessee.

Information you choose to provide

Our project inquiry form asks for your name, email, city or general area, and a project description. You may also provide a phone number, room type, wall count, and preferred timing. We use these details to respond, discuss your project, prepare an estimate, and keep related business records. You do not need to provide an exact street address to make an initial inquiry.

Please do not submit financial account details, identification documents, health information, or other sensitive information. The inquiry form does not accept file uploads, take payments, enroll you in marketing, or book an installation.

Technical information and essential cookies

The hosting service may record IP addresses, requested pages, dates and times, browser information, and request errors for site operation, troubleshooting, and security. The inquiry handler uses a keyed digest of the connecting IP address and attempt counts to limit abuse; it does not store inquiry contents in application logs. Expired rate-limit entries are removed when a new rate-limited request is processed.

The contact form and owner project editor use a necessary session cookie called SA_SESSION to validate requests and protect access. It is not used for advertising or cross-site tracking. Other public pages do not intentionally set application cookies. Your browser controls how session cookies are retained.

This version does not include advertising pixels, visitor analytics, embedded social feeds, externally hosted fonts, newsletter registration, or third-party photo widgets. It does not use browser local storage to track visitors. If optional tracking or marketing tools are added, we will review the policy and any required consent controls before enabling them.

Who handles the information

Leif and Jaimee use project inquiries to conduct Southern Accent’s business. The website is hosted by Namecheap. Inquiries are sent through the hosting mail service to hello@southernaccentnashville.com, where a mailbox copy is retained. A copy is also forwarded to our Southern Accent Gmail inbox at Google. Namecheap and its Jellyfish mail infrastructure handle delivery and spam filtering; Google handles the forwarded inbox copy. These providers may process technical information and message contents to supply their services. Their own terms and privacy policies apply to their operations.

We do not use this website to sell personal information or share it for targeted advertising. We may disclose information when reasonably needed to provide requested services, comply with a legal obligation, protect security, or resolve a dispute.

Retention and security

We retain inquiry and project records for as long as reasonably necessary for the inquiry, the resulting business relationship, and applicable recordkeeping or legal needs. Records that are no longer needed for those purposes can be deleted from the business inboxes. You may also contact us to request deletion as described below. Copies may remain temporarily in provider backups or legally required records. Hosting and mail services may have their own log and backup retention practices.

We limit collection and use HTTPS, server-side validation, request checks, and access controls. Email is not an appropriate way to send highly sensitive information. No online service can guarantee absolute security.

Questions and requests

You may ask about, correct, or request deletion of information you have provided by contacting us at hello@southernaccentnashville.com. Please include enough context for us to locate your inquiry, without sending sensitive documents. We may need to verify your identity proportionately and retain information required by law or an active dispute.

The website is intended for people seeking local home-design services; it is not directed to children. Please contact us if you believe a child has provided personal information that should be removed.

Changes

We may update this policy as the site and our practices change. The review date above identifies the current version.
